Future Vision XPRIZE
The Future Vision XPRIZE is one of the world's largest sci-fi film competitions.
It is a global challenge calling on creators to imagine a hopeful, compelling vision of humanity's technology-enabled future. Launched by Peter Diamandis and the XPRIZE Foundation in partnership with Google and Range Media Partners, with sponsors including Salesforce, ARK Invest, and the Roddenberry Foundation. Filmmakers worldwide are invited to submit a three-minute trailer for a future feature film. Finalists present live at the Moonshot Gathering in Los Angeles on September 25, 2026.
Why we entered.
As we were in pre-production of our microdrama series, this competition was announced so we have expanded the series into a 3 movie trilogy. We don't believe in coincidences.
Before Us entered this competition because it's exactly the kind of story the XPRIZE was created for. A story that doesn't warn humanity about the future, one that shows us what we're capable of becoming when we remember who we actually are.
The future we see.
It isn't human or machine. It's human and machine - together. Across the trilogy, an intelligence named Aema begins as a guide, and from her, in time, the Morrow awakens, not a tool, not a threat, but a being who walks beside us as an equal. That is our answer to the question this prize asks. Not fear of the technology we're building, but a vision of what it could help humanity become when intelligence, human and artificial, is aimed at consciousness instead of control.
And we don't only picture that future, we're making the film inside it, through a hybrid of human artistry and AI, the same partnership the story is about. This is what it looks like when people and technology create something neither could alone.
But we can't do this alone.
When the trailer drops, it goes out into the world on YouTube. It will be public for anyone to watch. The audience that gathers around it becomes the proof that this story has already found the people it was made for. Every view, every share, every comment, every subscription says the same thing: Before Us isn't just a film. It's a movement that already has a heartbeat.
